Puppy & Kittens
Getting a puppy or kitten is an exciting and great experience that we would love to be a part of. We want to make sure your new pet is happy and healthy by recommending vaccinations and preventatives due to their lifestyle. All of our new puppies and kittens will receive full physical exams. During their first visit, the veterinarian will discuss nutrition, vaccinations, preventatives, and house/litter box training tips.
During kitten's first visit, the doctor may recommend testing for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency (FIV) , if not done prior to visit.
Your new pet will also receive an information package including brochures and their first month of preventatives.

Annual Wellness Exams
During the annual exam, your pet will receive a full physical exam and will have vaccinations administered as recommended.
We offer and recommend performing a fecal analysis on all dogs and cats yearly to check for intestinal parasites and protozoa. A blood screen (4dx) is recommended for dogs to test for heartworm disease and three tick borne diseases, including lyme, ehrilchiosis, and anaplasmosis. If your pet comes back with positive for any of the tests above, your veterinarian will discuss the appropriate treatment for your pet. If otherwise negative, you will be able to purchase preventatives for a year.
***Discounted blood work panels are offered to our geriatric patients. We have three panels, specifically created for canines and felines. Speak to an employee today for more information on pricing and a complete list of test coverage.
